Instructions for completing the astudent rental assistance application process:
NOTE: All forms required can be found on the Student Rental Assistance page.
INITIAL ELIGIBILITY:
- Complete the Student Rental Assistance application form.
- Attach income verification documentation (i.e. pay stubs from employment, per capita letter, Social Security award letters, etc.) for any family you will be living with at the time you are attending school (i.e. spouse, brother, sister, etc.)
- Attach your Tribal Enrollment verification (copy of ID card or CIB from Member Benefits)
- Send to GRTHA, either via snail mail, email, or fax

UNIT ELIGIBILITY: (for unit you will live in while attending school – if you haven’t moved yet, you won’t be able to submit this set of the documentation until then)
- Send the following to GRTHA once you have a place to live:
- Copy of Rental Agreement
- Sign and send Livability Standards form
- Take pictures as directed on Livability Standards
- If you are living on campus, please send:
- Copy of contract you sign with campus housing
- Copy of bill you paid for housing
ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY:
- Documentation of your enrollment verification which MUST include:
- Your name
- Name of the school
- Number of credits receiving
- Start & stop dates of term
